Bilingual environment

We immerse our students in both Swedish and English, enabling them to navigate the world of today. 

Students learn in both Swedish and English, with up to 50% of their education taught in English. Swedish remains a central part of school life, while English is introduced progressively to build confidence in both languages.

LGR22 + IB framework

We prepare our students for an international environment, by adopting the IB framework for an exploration-based approach to learning. (ibo.org)

We combine the Swedish national curriculum, LGR22, with the IB Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme. Students develop strong subject knowledge while learning to investigate, think critically, collaborate and understand different perspectives.

Meet Jeremy Brooks, Head of School at Dibber International School Sollentuna. With extensive experience in Swedish international education, Jeremy leads a school built around belonging, curiosity, high expectations and preparation for life in a global community.

Pedagogy and profile

Dibber International Schools (DIS) are a group of bilingual -Swedish & English- schools located in Stockholm and Helsingborg. With up to 50% of the education taught in English our pedagogy is an interplay between teaching the LGR 22 that we follow and the International Baccalaureate pedagogic methods.

DIS is an authorized IB World School PYP and for MYP (Primary Years Program & Middle Years Program). We have a holistic view of the human being and see an interplay between academic and aesthetic subjects. We also see technology and innovation as a given in today’s society.
